Aeneas is a redundant IP connection that will serve as an automatic failover, routing your valuable data instantaneously to a secondary Aeneas Internet connection in the event your primary Internet connection is interrupted for any reason. Once service is restored, your data will automatically be routed back to your primary connection. All of our products provide cost-effective redundancy by combining an industry standard T1 or Fiber circuit, backed up by a ADSL or Fiber circuit. The secondary circuit is provisioned as a "shadow circuit." Under normal operating conditions, only the primary circuit is utilized; in the case of a failure, your Internet service automatically switches over to the secondary circuit. When service is restored to the primary circuit, service automatically switches back to it.
